We go to Son Massip by minibus. A steep ascent through a dense holm oak forest awaits us here. The reconstructed snow collector path, a serpentine path above the tree line, offers us the first wonderful views of the valley from Lluc and Cape Formentor to the Puig den Galileu summit (1181m).

More grandiose panoramic views of the surrounding mountains follow. We really deserved the picnic that followed with a view. Well-fortified, we descend on a stony, old cart path via the private Finca Comafreda. Our path leads us further down a secret hunter's path. We pass an interesting key point and finally reach the ancient pilgrimage path to Lluc. It is easy to continue uphill. Here we are offered breathtaking panoramic images over the plain of Mallorca. We now cross the pass Coll de sa Batalla and reach today's destination, the famous monastery of Lluc. After a coffee break in the monastery courtyard, we take the minibus back to Port de Sóller.
