MONDAY

We take the minibus to the little one

Hamlet of S'Esgleieta. This is followed by an easy ascent past orchards with wonderful views of the sunny side of the Tramuntana mountains. Then it goes slightly downhill, past vineyards and the well-known Angus cultivation of Finca Son Mallol. A great view over the bay of Palma. We reach Establiments, the idyllic suburb of Palma. Further through the village we walk past well-tended almond plantations and reach an old cart path. This leads us uphill past beautiful old fincas until we reach the viewpoint Coll de S'Heura.

 

This is followed by a short descent to Son Tries. Our resting place for the local picnic. After a nice break, we continue to hike along an old donkey path to Esporles. Here we stop for a short time in a café before we return to Port de Sóller by minibus.
